Urgent appeal for financial help
Due to the high rising Attorney fees, the committee for Julius Kosgey legal fees fund raising is appealing to members of the Kenyan community as a whole to assist raise funds on Sunday July 24th at at the Rapture Harvest Church 33 West Water Street Wakefield MA at 1:30pm soon after the morning service.
Julius Kosgey was picked up by ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) and has been under their custody for the last two months.

Julius Kosgey has been an orphan since he was 2yrs old but luckily, he was selected by Dr Geoffrey William Griffin to attend Starehe Boys Center, an esteemed school based in Nairobi, Kenya that is famed for helping educate orphaned children.
It was therefore at Starehe boys Center that Kosgey received free elementary and high school education.
On top of the education at Starehe Boys Center, Kosgey picked and developed a passion for tennis and was granted a full tennis scholarship to attend a college in Kansas, USA.
After college he relocated to Worcester where he coached tennis at Westborough Country Club.
He also participated in the Big Brother, Big Sister program in Worcester where he was a mentor to a young boy.
He attended First Assemblies church in Worcester and was involved in the youth activities which involved assisting kids at the Boys and Girls Club in Worcester.
He then relocated to NH after been offered a job as an assistant tennis coach at the Wentworth Club by the Sea, then moved to Seacoast Club for more tennis coaching.
It was while he was in New Hampshire that he got picked up by ICE on March 30th.
Kosgey has a 4 year old daughter and friends and the organizing committee would like to give the young daughter and opportunity to continuing growing with a father.
Therefore as friends and the organizing committee for the planned funds drive, we are appealing for help from the Kenyan community for this young man who has no family apart from us.
