WORCESTER, Mass. , NOVEMBER 12_After a weekend of confusion when three top Kenyan Gospel artists on a tour in America  appeared late for a concert at the CCF church in Lowell, the musicians reconciled with their fans when they thrilled them at the Divine Gospel Ministries in Worcester before packing their bags to return home.

Sarah Kiarie, popularly known as Sarah K, and Ben Githae who performed in Boston last year, were joined by two new hot artists, Loise Kim and Mary Githinji on stage at a revival event hosted by Rev. Christopher Kamau and his wife, Frasier, in Worcester.

A large group of fired up Kenyan Gospel lovers of all ages attended the all day free entry event that was full of fun.

The artists, who performed in their native Kikuyu language, had one week before run into some organizational problems that led to a shortened performance time at the CCF church in another revival event organized by Faith Service Ministries.

Another artist, Loise Kim, who also performed at the CCF church, had left for an out of state engagement while her compatriots stayed behind performing at various weekday fellowship meetings before concluding their tour with the Worcester event.

During the Worcester concert, the artists sold many copies of their CDs and DVDs to fans that got to sample new hits from the artists.

Sarah K rocked the house with her new title, ‘Thumbi’ (crown) as she dramitized with her long Afro-style hair specifically set to look like a crown, while Ben Githae continued with his well known hits.

New entrant into the US Gospel scene, Mary Githinji entertained fans with her melodious tracks she had a week before performed in Virginia.

Speaking during the event, the host Rev. Christopher Kamau praised the artists for using their talent to praise God. He promised them that they will always be welcome at his church, anytime of the year whenever they are in America.

Divine Gospel Ministries Church is rapidly becoming a center of attraction for gospel artists in the Worcester area.

Recently, the church hosted the renowned Kenyan preacher, Dr. Wilfred Lai when he toured the New England area.

The artists promised to return next year and spend more time with their fans.
