Kenyans in Boston raise $15,000 in support of efforts against hunger

WORCESTER_Mass.,_ Kenyans in Boston raised $15,000 (Kenyan Shillings 1.5 Million) yesterday during the Mashujaa day celebrations to support the world wide effort against the hunger ravaging the Turkana District, North Eastern province and Eastern province in their motherland.
The money raised will be sent to Kenya to add to the over KSH 700,000,000 donated by Kenyans for Kenya initiative that saw the private sector and civil society in Kenya rally around a common cause to provide relief to the children and adults starving due to the famine situation.
