ABINGTON, Mass. December 17: “If God has a mark on your life, it does not matter whether you’re a child of rape, whether people hate you or you live in the ghetto, what tribe you’re, what enemies say behind your back or even the problems you face. The purpose of God in your life shall come to pass, if you believe, and God will continue to bless you.”
This was said by Pastor Joseph Njuguna while giving words of courage to Kenyans who may have reached a dead end in their lives in the Diaspora or are discouraged by friends who want them to fail.
Pastor Njuguna, the founder of the Man of God ministries based in London, UK, said that he is a living testimony of the ability of anyone to overcome even the worst situation because he was a homeless, drug addict and HIV positive jailbird who used to mug people in the streets of London for a living.
Now a globe trotting, fiery and flamboyant preacher who praises God, Pastor Njuguna told hundreds of believers who convened at the ANTOR church in Abington that to overcome the problems, people need to acknowledge the power of God and have a small measure of faith and belief while living Godly lives.
Before before inviting Apostle Njuguna to preach, Rev. Joseph Nyamoki, who worships at the ANTOR led a moving praise and worship session.

Reading from the book of Ecclesiasts 12, Njuguna said, “It is good for people to remember the lord and be faithful to him in the days of their youth and in return the lord shall bless them, leaving their enemies amazed in awe.”
He said that after he gave up drugs and the horrible life in London, he decided to be faithful to God and started serving in a church in London, cleaning toilets and arranging seats.
He said that he had a hard time even to get a girl to notice him because he did not possess the three requirements that all sisters want in a man before they marry them, which are cash, car and a cell phone.
“The sisters in the church did not want to talk to me because I was coming to the church riding a bicycle. When I stepped forward for the preacher to pray for me, I had to hold onto him tightly so that I don’t fall because people would see my torn trousers,” Njuguna told the amused worshippers.
However, because of his faithfulness, Njuguna was finally able to get his life together, buy a nice car, get some cash, a cell phone and was then blessed to have a lady to marry.
He said that now, God leads him to meet other people who keep opening new doors for him as he serves.
“Don’t allow the challenges of a foreign country discourage you. When you have a mark of God in your life, you are un-deportable,” said Njuguna. “When you have been faithful with God, he will remember the labor of your love,” he added.
During the sermon, Pastor Efrain Diaz of Igleja Bethesda, a Spanish church in Lowell, who who attended the meeting, commended Kenyans for their love for God.

The host of the meeting, Rev. Carl-Philip Kihato, thanked worshippers who attended the three day convention that started on Saturday through Monday.
Pastor Diaz will be taking Njuguna to Puerto Rico for a revival meeting, then the duo will head to Kenya for more ministry work.
The widely traveled Man of God will be heading to Canada for a convention in a Ghanaian Church, after which he will be back in New England for a service at the Iglesias church in Lowell on December 24th.
He will then be back at the ANTOR church in Abington for a new year’s service on December 31st from 11.30pm to 6am
