LOWELL, Mass_The 3 pastors banned from attending the Kenyan community Marathon prayers and Easter celebrations event to be held tomorrow at the Saint Stephens church in Lowell are now free to do so.

This was said by Rev. Samuel Kimuhu of Saint Stephens’s church during a brief interview with Ajabu Africa News.

The pastor said that he regretted that the issue of the banning of the pastors came up at this time when the Kenyan community is in an expectant mood with the Kenyan Boston marathon runners hitting the race course on Monday.

“We are inviting everyone to attend and the 3 pastors are also welcome at our church tomorrow," Rev. Kimuhu said.

The pastor did not issue further details regarding the lifting of the ban but wished all Kenyans in the area a happy celebrations weekend.

The 3 pastors, Rev. Horrace Kamau, Rev. Gerald Wahome and Rev. John Gathogo had been banned from setting foot at the Kenyan community church due to issues emanating from their ordinations by Bishops from other denominations different from the Saint Stephens Community church.

The event, which will also include a goat eating party, will take place at the Saint Stephens church located on 279 West 6th st, Lowell, Mass. Starting at 3pm.
