Gospel Artists to launch organization tomorrow, Sunday, June 20th

LOWELL, Mass., The Kenyan gospel artists in the USA will be launching an organization that is aimed at bring together and assisting the artists to market their music better.
The organization, called Kenya Gospel Singers Inc., will be launhed tomorrow , Sunday June 20th, at the Christian community church (CCF) in Lowell at 3pm.
The highly anticipated event will be attended by a battery of over 20 Kenyan gospel artists from different cities and states across the US , who want to join efforts for support and better marketing of their music.
"We need to make our artists be more competitive and find out ways to reach more people out there", said Irene Kamau, president of the newly formed organization.
The artists welcome any willing gospel artist to join them in the organization and for the launch.They also called on their fans to come out in big numbers and celebrate the development with them.
The guest speaker during the launch will be Dr. Solomon Waigwa from Texas. Dr. Waigwa is the chair of the Department of Religion and Philosophy at the Wiley College in Marshall, Texas, and a leader at the African Holy Ghost Christian Church, populary known as the Akorino church.
"We welcome you all to celebrate with us" said Lucy Muthumbi, aka Wasaimo, during an interview with Ajabu Africa.com recently.
Muthumbi thinks the organization will help take gospel artists to the next level.
