Huge Gospel Event today, Sunday November 15th in Worcester, Mass.

WORCESTER, Mass, NOVEMBER 15_ A huge gospel music event to be attended by seven Kenyan gospel artists is slated to take place today at the Dream Center in Worcester, Mass, and is expected to draw hundreds of Kenyans and friends from around New England as they witness yet a new artist release a new CD.
With a large population of Kenyan citizens living in and around Worcester, the event is a sure bill for those who are looking to socialize and praise God at the same time.
About seven different Kenyan artists will be on stage including long time household names like Sarah Mbogo, Lucy Muthumbi and Florence Kimotho.
Hot newcomers in the gospel arena like Jackie Odanga and Julius Kamau will also do their gig in a show that will also include two popular visiting artists from Kenya, Philip Kimani and Anthony Ndichu.
The eagerly awaited party is organized to mark the launching of a new CD by another new artist, Elizabeth Kamau, aka Wa Rose .
The new CD, titled “Ningeyonera , Kikuyu for “I will see with my own eyes”, has been bringing people off their feet during a few recent pre- launch performances.
Proceeds from the CD sale will go towards funding a children’s orphanage that Kamau and her husband, Pastor Samuel Kariuki run in Ruiru, about 45 miles north of Nairobi in Kenya.
The orphanage houses 50 children and employs 20 staff members.
