Investment Conference Kicks Off, Worcester Venue Changed to Lowell

CHELMSFORD, Mass., The 2010 Kenya Diaspora Investment conference kicked off last night at the Radisson Hotel in Chelmsford Massachusetts. The organizers have decided to change the venue for tomorrow’s session (Saturday, October 16) , from the DCU Center in Worcester and keep it at the same Radisson Hotel in Chelmsford, near Lowell for logistical reasons.
The conference opened with speeches from several top leaders and event organizers followed by a prayer session with two gospel artists performing.
It continued this morning with the America Ambassador to Kenya, Michael Ranneberger attending a town hall meeting with guests present, as exhibitors took their positions to demonstrate their products and services.
Event organizers, led by the managing director of the Kenya Investment Authority, Susan Kikwai and Peter Wairegi from Ohio, who is the publisher of the African American Lifestyle magazine, informed Kenyans who are planning to attend the event tomorrow in Worcester that the venue has been changed to the Radisson Hotel in Lowell..

“However, the dinner dance, that will include the popular Mugithi dance, will still take place tomorrow (Saturday, October 16) at the Umass Inn & Conference center (Formerly the Double tree) starting at 5pm ”, said the organizers while talking to Ajabu Africa News.
