Man Gets Seven Years for Sexual Acts with a cow

Nairobi, Kenya. April 9. - A 23-year-old man will spend seven years in prison for having sex with a neighbor’s cow.

James Irungu Mugo was convicted today in a Muranga court after he pleaded guilty to the charges, which were read to him by Senior Principal Magistrate G.L Nzioka.

Mugo was charged that on April 5. at Kiaguthu village, Kahuro District in Murang’a, he had carnal knowledge with a cow against the order of nature.

Chief Inspector Tobias Akumu for prosecution told the court that the cow’s owner, Wanjiru Kinyanjui, red-handedly caught the accused man quenching his sexual lust with the animal at around 1:30 p.m. on the material day.

Akumu said the complainant raised alarm and attracted members of the public to the scene.  The accused, he said, tried to run away, but the neighbors apprehended him and frog-matched him to Kahuro Police Station.  
Mugo was reportedly drunk when he committed the sexual act.
