Angry husband punches wife’s admirer in church

Posted October 30, 2011

A prominent businessman in Kerugoya town was recently beaten and disgracefully thrown out of a pre-wedding meeting when he indecently touched someone’s wife.

When he arrived with a friend, charming women ushered them to vacant pews in the church where the meeting was being held. He whispered to his friend that he had fallen in love at first sight with one of the ushers.

"My friend, that woman is married. Her husband is the tall guy in a stripped suit sitting behind us," his friend cautioned. "Besides, there are other equally beautiful but single women who would gladly accept you."

"There is no way this beauty could see anything in that ugly man," he said, eyes misty.

Whispered

When the meeting started, she sat on the bench right in front of him.

"Karibu dada," he leaned forward and whispered in her ear.

When she was called to the pulpit to lead the prayers, his eyes followed her every movement. As she graciously walked back to her seat, the man nearly broke his neck watching her every movement.

"You are causing a scene," his friend hissed when he realised people had noticed the man’s infatuation.

Brushed her hair

He paid no attention. Instead, he fished out a handkerchief, clumsily wiped his face and "accidentally" brushed her hair as he returned it to his pocket. He quickly mumbled an apology.

"No problem — it’s okay," she whispered, unaware that it was no accident.

When the meeting was at an advanced stage, she stood up to air her views.

Unfortunately, her dress was stuck in her butt-crack. She must have been too embarrassed to pull it out because all she did was stump her feet on the floor and subtly wriggle her bottom.

The man could no longer take it. He swiftly stretched out his hand, grabbed her dress and straightened it.

The woman was so shocked that she hit his hand hard, covered her face in embarrassment and started crying as her husband literally flew from his pew and attacked him with heavy blows.

People hastily pulled him away, bundled the offending man and pushed him outside.

"If I get him, he will know who I am!" threatened the husband.

He has since been struck out as a member of the wedding committee and banned from attending church service.
