Naivasha Simba Lodge
Situated on South Lake Road basically between Safariland and Elsamere, this lodge is situated on 390 acres of land. The lodge has been built in a corner of this so that the rest is available for an animal sanctuary and walks. The Lodge has 70 rooms built in 7 blocks of 10 rooms each, and two stories. The rooms are all overlooking the gardens with the lake further on. There are inter-connecting rooms for families. The lower rooms on either side of each block have an outdoor shower area which is a nice touch. There is also a shower inside for those who do not want to shower outside.
The rooms are all basically the same. They are large, airy and each has a sunken sitting room. The dining room is in a flower shape with three separate dining rooms all coming into a central buffet area. This is a very good idea when looking at large groups or incentives as they can all dine together in one area. There is a very large bar/sitting room area with a pool table in a separate room. There is also a separate pub. A lovely swimming pool is there. This is all part of a health complex which includes a gym, ladies and gents steam and sauna rooms.
There is a very nice conference complex which includes 2 rooms set up in U-shape able to accommodate 24 pax. There is another larger room able to accommodate 200 pax in theatre style. All these rooms can also be used for banqueting functions.
The lodge has 3 boats for trips on the lake able to take 8 pax each. In future they plan to have horses as well.
The lodge, like Mara Simba Lodge, is extremely Eco friendly with its own water purifying plant and central boilers for hot water so no wood is used to heat water. Not one tree was cut down on the property during the construction process and even the wall encompassing the property, has been built around trees. The plan is to plant a further 30,000 indigenous trees on the property, many of which have already been planted.

Mara Simba Lodge
