Day 01
NAIROBI , KENYA Karibu Kenya !
Arrive at Nairobi is Jomo Kenyatta International Airport . Nairobi is the largest city between Cairo and Johannesburg . Though just south of the equator, it enjoys a spring-like climate. It is a modern city, yet its main avenues blaze with color from tropical bushes and vines. Less than 100 years ago, there was a river in an empty wilderness where Nairobi now stands. Despite health hazards and the ever-present danger from wild animals, Nairobi became established by 1907 and quickly grew as a white farming community.
It also attracted world attention as the center of big-game safaris for the rich and famous. Perhaps the most famous was the safari of Teddy Roosevelt, which needed 500 porters to carry supplies and returned with 500 trophies. Nairobi has a wealth of international restaurants. Cuisine of all types is available from Chinese to French and Italian. Several restaurants also offer local favorites. Nightlife varies from dining out to going to local nightclubs with discos and bands. Shopping in Nairobi varies from African clothing and craft shops to bazaar stalls and open-air markets where souvenir hunters find bargains ranging from woodcarvings to Persian carpets. After clearing customs and immigration formalities, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to The Stanley Hotel
THE STANLEY
As Kenya is first luxury hotel, The Stanley has always occupied a special place in Nairobi ?s heart. From the day it opened its doors in 1902, it has been making history, hosting royal safaris, ground breaking business events and a long line of living legends. From the moment you pass through the century old revolving doors, you leave the heat and bustle of modern Nairobi for a world of cool Victorian elegance. The spacious foyer, with its marble floors, leather furniture, and antique brass and wrought-iron fittings, recalls a graceful era of fine furnishings and grand living. The luxurious rooms, the largest in Nairobi , blend Victorian grandeur and comfort with all the practical amenities of the 21st century. There are two restaurants, a caf? and a bar to select from.

Day 02
NAIROBI & AMBOSELI
Pick up from The Stanley hotel and transferred to Wilson Airport Board the scheduled flight to Amboseli National Park , overlooking Mount Kilimanjaro . On arrival at the airstrip, met and transferred in a 4WD camp vehicle (seat-in-car basis) to the camp, game viewing enroute. Afternoon game drive. Full board at the camp. Amboseli National Park , at the foot of Africa's highest mountain - Kilimanjaro at 5895m (19,340ft), is one of the most popular of all Kenya 's national parks. It lies some 240 kms (145 miles) southeast of Nairobi . The snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro rising above a saucer of clouds dominates every aspect of Amboseli National Park that covers 392 km (151.3 square miles). The Tanzania border runs along its base and also forms the boundary of the park. This was the locale around which such famous writers as Ernest Hemingway and Robert Ruark spun their stories of big-game hunting in the African wilds. It is also the home of the famed Maasai people, those tall, proud nomadic warriors whose legendary prowess in battle and single handed acts of bravely in fights with wild animals has spread across the world. Perhaps more than any other community in Kenya , however, they have learned to live in complete harmony with their environment and the wildlife that surrounds them. The snows of Kilimanjaro, white and crystalline, form a backdrop to one of Kenya's most spectacular displays of wildlife - lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, cheetah, buffalo and hosts of plains game - a combination which makes this park a photographer's paradise.
TORTILIS CAMP
Named after the trees from which it takes shade (acacia tortilis), Tortilis Camp lies on the boundary of Amboseli National Park . The omnipresent snow-domed Mount Kilimanjaro sets the stage for excellent game viewing and magnificent sunrises. The 15 accommodation tents are spacious and thoughtfully spaced at some distance from each other offering total privacy and breathtaking views across the plains to Africa ?s highest mountain. Perched on a look out hill, the main house offers relaxation, attentive service and delightful home-cooked Italian food. As well as game drives, guests at Tortilis can enjoy bush walks with a Maasai guide ? an experience which brings the sights, sounds and smells of the bush to life. In between game viewing, guests can relax by the swimming pool or sit on their verandah and watch a dazzling array of bird life.

The 17 en suite tents are simply but elegantly furnished, with private wooden decks overlooking the rushing river, where elephant, buffalo and a multitude of antelope species come regularly to drink. Larsen?s offers a surprising degree of comfort, with hot showers, complimentary aperitifs, and first-class dining. Day 05
SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE
Full day spent in Samburu with morning and afternoon gamedrives in the reserve. Enjoy the picturesque landscape and unique species of mammals and birds on your early morning and afternoon game viewing drives

Samburu Game Reserve offers what is arguably Kenya is greatest and least changed encounter with the wild Africa of yesteryear. This harsh, savagely beautiful wilderness depends on the steady flow of the Uaso Nyiro River for its existence; the river waters a wide variety of animal species not found south of the Equator, including the majestic Beisa Oryx, the reticulated giraffe, the thin-striped Grevy's zebra, and the ,giraffe-necked, gerenuk antelope, which stands on its hind legs to feed. Elephant, buffalo, lion and leopard can all be seen along the river, and the 400-plus species of birds are positively spectacular.Together with neighboring Buffalo Springs and Shaba national reserves, Samburu comprises 833 sq km of protected semi-desert land. This is the home of the Samburu tribe, cousins of the Maasai, who share the same nomadic, cattle-herding existence, and an even stricter adherence to their age-old rites and customs.
All meals and overnight at Larsen's Camp (LDBB)
Day 06
SAMBURU - MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
Breakfast at the camp and transfer to the airstrip for your schedule flight to Mara.

On arrival in Mara airstrip, met and transferred in a 4WD camp vehicle (seat-in-car basis) to the camp, game viewing enroute.

Afternoon game drive.

The jewel in Africa is crown, Maasai Mara is host to the most spectacular array of wildlife. Her 320 square kilometers of open savannah, woodlands and tree-lined rivers creates an eco-system that supports huge numbers of bird and mammal species. The western border of the park is the spectacular Siria Escarpment, and together with the acacia dotted plains, creates scenery of stunning beauty. Lion are found in abundance throughout the reserve as are elephant, giraffe, a variety of gazelle species and zebra. Cheetah and leopard are also regularly seen and, if lucky, you may also find rhino. Game viewing is never dull in the Mara, and patience is often rewarded with unique sightings: a pride of lion stalking their prey; a solitary leopard retrieving its kill from the high branches of an acacia tree; male wildebeest sparring to attract females into their harem; or even a herd of elephant protecting their young from opportunistic predators. The annual wildebeest migration traditionally is present in the Mara from July-September and at this time nature's dramas unfold before your very eyes at every turn. As well as wildlife, the Maasai Mara is also home to many members of the colorful Maasai tribe who may be seen around the borders of the park morans (warriors) loping across the plains, young boys herding goats, or elders grouped under a tree discussing matters of the day.
OLONANA
A luxury camp idyllically nestled in the heart of Kenya's big game country, Olonana extends a service and style reminiscent of the romantic safari era at the turn of the 19th century, and a peaceful haven from which to explore the Maasai Mara, one of nature's most thrilling eco-systems. Whilst retaining an old world charm, Olonana is at the forefront of eco-tourism in Kenya with solar power, bio degradable products and a wetlands project which allows for all used water to be totally recycled. The camp comprises just 12 spacious and airy en suite accommodation tents (all with 2 queen size beds, floor to ceiling mosquito net windows and verandah) located on the banks of the Mara River, where the resident hippo pods spend their days wallowing. The main cottage's lounge and dining area offers a home from home, whilst it's spacious verandah provides the perfect setting for after dinner stargazing.
